Ukrainian Society of Indiana

OUR MISSION

The Ukrainian Society of Indiana serves Ukrainian Hoosiers and friends of Ukraine through cultural, educational, and civic projects. We are dedicated to preserving and celebrating Ukrainian traditions; teaching our community about all aspects of Ukrainian culture; and forging connections between Indiana and Ukraine.

Cultural

We pursue the cultural pillar of our mission through holding community events that are open to all, celebrating Ukrainian holidays and special commemorative occasions, and promoting Ukrainian arts.

Educational

The educational pillar of our mission is achieved via offering presentations and lectures on Ukraine's history and current events, sharing information with local media, and conducting classes & workshops.

Civic

The civic pillar of our mission encompasses various ways of forging connections between Indiana and Ukraine: through business development, sister city relationships, and citizen diplomacy.
